Hi, I've just posted an children's story, The Blind Man and the Cripple (瞎子和跛子) to the Tales with Tal group.  The original post and related discussion is here.  The story is here.

Wow! This is very educational Tvan (I haven't yet gotten around to learning a lot of traditional characters, but this is a very good spin around that block). If the story were any longer it might have been too daunting but it was short and just right. Many useful expressions in here too. Thanks very much for this.

Tvan, I'm so happy I stumbled back onto the CP website and saw your post. I've been studying Cheng & Tsui Tales and Traditions (I think it's considered "advanced beginner") and will love studying the story you posted. Now and then I get discouraged about not having opportunity to speak Chinese, so retreat from CP into studying literature, which is really fun and rewarding in its own right. Learning vocabulary, traditions, a life's lesson or two, a tad of wisdom, and internalizing more of the language. Great post, great sharing, thanks!
