Dear Ellen,

 

How would one say "mountain biking" or "road cycling" as a verb not noun?  i.e.

(1) “I'm going mountain biking. ” 

(Since I don't compete in Olympic competitions, merely, I'm going to ride bicycle on mountain trails.)  Would this work?   

我去騎山地自行車。

(2) "I like road biking."  

(Meaning, riding bike on the road as opposed to competition.)

我喜歡在公路騎自行車。
