Consulting my dictionaries, I think it's a mistake. Unless I am mistaken, 吓 is pronounced xia4 as a noun or verb, but also he4 as a particle (e.g. 恐吓, 恫吓). And the sound of this podcast says "xia" ...

Yeah, you don't need an iPod. I don't have, either. As for usage, * You can repeat to listen the lesson in more a handy way: most of players have this function. I love to repeat dialogue podcasts before and after taking the main lesson. It helps me to comprehend the lesson, also to memorize each sentences in its tones and sounds. Also you can use it to practice some methods including overlapping, shadowing or dictation.

Hi, José Nilo, I didn't got "le5" on the podcast, while it is in "dialogue" in the text and its sound. I learned it makes a sentence sort of past tense, and wonder if the sentence in podcast (lacking "le5") works well.

@steve Thanks for your comment, point taken. I found there is no expansion too. Do you have recommendations of lessons where I can find relevant phrases? Particular "to go to ..."

@dmpauly, moniqueinchina Me either :( Only excercise 2/3 is available. :( By the way, I skipped the "previous lesson(s)". Where the word which stands for "tired" showed first?
