With the "zou ba",  a lot is in your tone and intent as far as how polite it is.   It's one of the real easy ones to change from a "Please do this"  to a "You will do this".

TONS of good little phrases in this lesson.

Very practical stuff here good for quite a number of situations.

Let's put this lesson to the REAL test.

I'm going to call my girlfriend in Shenyang and propose this evening.

Wish me luck.

More water to raise animals than vegetables ?

Nonsense.

It's not even close; crops take thousands upon thousands of gallons per acre.  Take a drive through the country - those five inch pipe sprinkler and irrigation systems ain't spraying water over the hog pen for ten hours a day, sweetheart. They're watering your veggies.

I found the further north you go in the country, the taller the population gets.  In Shenyang or Harbin areas, nearly 6 foot teenage girls are not that uncommon.

No problem here with Biajiu, it's no worse tasting than Korean Soju or Mockoli, and certainly not as vulgar as the local gin they brew in Panama.

I did have the same problem with people coming up and either pinching my skin or even worse, tugging at the hair on my arms & chest.  There have been times I buttoned my shirt all the way to the top and rolled my sleeves all the way down.  (American Western style shirts)

I've had several requests from college students, (mainly girls, as to why I can't figure out) they have asked me to bring genuine Zippo lighters.
