November 8, 2007 at 1:57 AMGreat lesson. Thanks. The Cab driver's accent and speed are great practice.. I didn't hear or see a 塞车 in this lesson. This seems to be the most commonly used phrase for traffic jam in Taiwan. "很会塞.." Is this also a common phrase in the mainland? Or do they mostly just use the DU in 堵塞?

October 27, 2007 at 1:52 AMI'm with Goulniky on most all of his comments. Chinese use of a pianjiaming-like system would make life much easier for foreigners. I'm also a big fan of Taiwan's ZHUYINFUHAO. Great system for learning proper Chinese pronunciation and learning how to write Chinese.
