Hang on a second! Marks? That doesn't sound American! Don't you guys refer to "grades"? Surely it can't be that you listened to complaints about Americanisms on CPod?

(And sorry for hijacking this thread. As a non-paying member, I can't start my own thread)

So .... 2 weeks and 1 day rounds up to 3 weeks?

Anyway, the CPod staff have been like this for aeons. They see only what they choose to see.

Have you listened to the "Pinyin Program" podcasts on CPod?

Perhaps it is a stereo recording where one track has mostly music and the other has mostly voice. And for whatever reasons, each of you are playing only one track.

Just a suggestion.

Nán is never an article. Nánpéngyou means boyfriend.

This nán (男) meaning 'male' is a different character to nán (难) meaning 'difficult'.

Ummm ..... the Intro looks fine to me.

You might be right about "distinguish the differences", but I wouldn't have thought about it if you hadn't raised it.

But the rest ... I would have to say that not only are you being somewhat picky, but I really don't agree with you on those. Why does there need to be a "the" before "many Chinese words" ? That would only be appropriate if you could guarantee that all of those words were covered.

Do you think they have a translation for wrong'un, flipper, yorker, slips, maiden over, square leg, or sticky wicket?

Yes, she doesn't know how to pronunciate "pronunciation".

(I can also hardly wait for Prince William to be coronated)
