Nice lesson guys, thanks.
My question is about 客人versus 客户。Are these interchangeable or subtly different? Before seeing this lesson I have been using 客户 for customer/client and wasn't aware that 客人 could also have that meaning as well as "guest". I also see that yingyue has suggested 顾客。It seems that both 顾客 and 客户 could avoid any confusion with "guest". But are the three terms equivalent, and if not when would it be appropriate to use each of them?

I suppose the first could be translated as “you seem very busy” and the second as “you look very busy” but it seems to me that they essentially mean the same thing. Can they be used interchangeably or is there a subtle difference in their use?

July 22, 2019, 07:43 AMI am a physicist, and when I was meeting clients in Beijing last year I would introduce myself and say 我是物理学家。In this lesson Jenny and John say it is not very humble to call yourself a something 学家, but it is fine for other people to call you that. I want to know how I should say "I am a physicist" without sounding arrogant. I see John has already replied to a similar question and said that he just tells people what he DOES rather than what he IS. That is a good suggestion, but at my level I don't have the vocabulary to explain what I do in Chinese, I just want to be able to say "I am a physicist" as I would do in English, but of course in a culturally appropriate way. I also have 物理学家 on my Chinese business card, which was translated (not by me) from my English business card. Is this also inappropriate?
