They are both verbs but the structures are different therefore their usages in a sentence are different.

复原 doesn't follow by an object.

  • 台风过后,街道很难 复 原。                                  V  NAfter the typhoon, the streets are difficult to recover.
  • 我们努力把街道 恢复 原状 吧!                            V      NLet's work hard to restore the streets!

复 (Verb: recover) 原 (Noun: origin)

恢 (Verb: recover) 复 (Verb: recover)

越 as a character has many meanings. 越 as a verb, it means exceed; as a noun, is a name of a place.

In the dialogue, it is a common saying "越...越...", meaning "the more...the more..."

Did you mean to ask what does 蔡 mean ?

It happens to be my surname. It's just a surname without any other meaning.

There used to be a kingdom in the 6th century bc, which is called Cai kingdom and its people were surnamed Cai.

Yes, it's quite formal. I suggest you can use the dictionary function and see what 结束 is often used.

When you think there's a clear end of something you would use 结束。

  • 球赛结束我就去找你。I will head towards you when the game ends.
  • 生日派对会在四点结束。The birthday party will end at 4 pm.

Let's clarify the difference between 看 and 见 as verbs here first.

The character 看 is a combination of  a hand(手) and an eye (目) so you would use 看 in these situations.

  • Hey look! There's a bird.你看!那里有一只鸟。
  • I don't want to look.我不想看。

The character 见 is a combination of an eye (目) and two legs so it means to meet (and interact with) someone.

  • I really miss him. I'll go meet him tomorrow.我很想他, 我明天就去见他!
  • 我想跟她   见     面。               Verb  Noun

If it's two syllable structure, "Verb + Complement" when 到 served as a complement it means "to be successful in...."

So if you did see the bird you or saw someone far away on the street you would say

  • 我  看  到    那只   鸟了!wǒ kàndào nàzhī niǎole!I saw that bird now.
  • 我  没    看  到。wǒ méi kàndào.I didn't see it.
  • 我在路上看到我的前女友。wǒzài lùshàng kàndào wǒde qián nǚyǒu le.I saw my ex girlfriend on the street.

if you meant to meet someone....

  • She said she would meet me at 12 pm but she didn't show up. So this time we still didn't meet up.她说他12点跟我见面, 但是她没来,所以我们这次还是没见到。

(Sorry, I made it quite long. Hope you find it helpful.)

The character 这 is pronounced as zhè.

However, when saying 这个,the "one" is implied, therefore, these three characters "这一个" (zhè yí ge) are said very quickly together and it sounds like zhèi.

When "one" is not implied, like this example, then it should not be pronounced as zhèi

  • 这三个人 zhè sān ge rén

(Although you can still hear that quite often because people are used to it or it's under the influence of their own dialects.)

Can you clarify which sentence did you see? That way I can see what you don't understand better. I couldn't find it with 带 in the expansion.

It doesn't necessarily have to live in one house together although it's one way to 相处.

相处 means to get along, and deal with each other.

See the example here.

  • 跟同事相处真累人!Gēn tóngshì xiāngchǔ zhēn lèirén!It's so tiring to deal with coworkers.
  • 跟他相处两个星期以后,我决定还是别再跟他联络了。gēn tā xiāngchǔ liǎngge xīngqí yǐhòu, wǒ juèdìng háishì bié zài gēn tā liánluò le.After seeing him for two weeks, I decided not to continue to contact him anymore.
