August 15, 2017, 11:47 AMSmall nitpick, this sentence in the Expansion section should probably be revised to be closer to reality. 我的大学的学费是一学期美金六十四万三千五百元。Something around $25,000 USD per semester (or less) would make a lot more sense.

August 15, 2017, 11:28 AMI'm on a monitor so it doesn't get in my way, but I'm not sure it's all that necessary since we can scroll up to pause if needed. Though I imagine it's more helpful with longer dialogues at the Intermediate and above levels. Maybe show the floating version if the browser window is larger than a certain size?

December 03, 2017, 09:00 PMThanks for answering those questions. They were both entertaining and helpful. I think I'll need to use an HSK exam as a specific goal and motivation to get to the next level.
Very cool that you play guitar, Gwilym, music is a great hobby. And I wholly endorse Fiona learning Swift. It's a powerful and intuitive language, but like Chinese, it does help to have a small project in mind for motivation. You should try out the Swift Playgrounds app or Py if you're still interested in learning more.
