谢谢你, changye!

I do know that "工作" doesn't necessarily mean "go to the office". I just didn't know that "上班" only refers to office related work! Does "上班" really only imply "white-collar tasks"?

Instead of "...明天还要上班" would it be also correct to say "...明天还要工作"?

John, no wonder I couldn't find it on the dictionary...

Adding a "g" at the end made it a complete new word ;-)

Thanks for your help.

Orangina, a taxi driver told me about the 大拐/小拐 thing. It's actually very simple. If you turn left you have to cross another lane before you enter the street you want to go to. If you turn right you will be in the right spot "instantly". You have to drive a longer way when turning left -> 大. Short way when turning left -> 小 ;-)

If I remember correctly I've also heard the expression: zǒu zhuang / yōu zhuang etc. (can't remember the tone)

Does anyone know this? What's the exact translation and the difference to guǎi?
