Thanks for the link, I have provided feedback to CP team (in the past) that if there is mention of a specific lesson in an episode, they need to make sure they link to it.

Awesome, new lessons. Or are they just re-dating/renumbering old ones? Or CGI? :)

Me too! This is second time I have heard that qing wen referenced. PLEASE include a link.

Maybe I am the dumb guy but after many searches, I don't find it.

Can you link the Ching Wen that you reference at 2:40 in the lesson? Thanks.

Ha--those Chinese sayings. Being from the US and holding my chopsticks 'long', people constantly point that out. See, because your wife is from China! Even pointing out that my wife does not hold hers like that, does not sway their 'logic'. :)

I will disagree with two things. Maybe Taiwan is different but 'no slurp'? Really? I have been in a lot of noodle shops and that is not my experience. And I will pit my trusty travel spork against your chopsticks at the steak shop. LOL.

I often say to my kids, 过来 guò lái

Is this a common way of saying to come here or am I misusing that?

Frankly, I subscribe to ChinesePod and don't take classes. I like the videos amongst other things. I am sure you think this a good point but I think he has a good suggestion.

Sorry I am a lazy learner cool but having videos affords us some shortcuts and learning helpers that simply are not available in a classroom setting.

{ok, dumb English speaking guy here} Frankly, I think your stressing that point too much. (of needing more) "Hey mom! I finished(did/etc.) my homework!" Maybe an answer to an implicit question(why is my kid never finishing his homework?) but I might say to my wife, 'wo chi le' and I have never gotten a questioning 'and so, why are you telling me this'. :)

But maybe it is really the same in English. I say to my friend, I have eaten and his reply might be 'so, what is you point?'.

But I will check out the next lesson and as you say maybe that will help clear it up.
