Haha oh lol means "laugh-out-loud" but only on the internet and geeks like me add weird stuff on the end for no particular reason (like "lol-zords" or lol-zoids)

There's no real reason for it....in fact thinking about it now it's actually pretty silly =/

Oh ok..what's the difference between kou yu and kou yin? I thought kou yin was "accent" and kou yu was "gossip" or "slander"

& can you say "wo shi london" or any other city or is that just weird? Oh and whoops I added a "ren" where it should've just been yingguo

thanks for helping (^_^)

真有用。 我想要看看嘴唇移动当谈话时

Wow I managed to get up to kankan without needing a translator.

I'm sure it's wrong but I'll take some guesses at what i meant =]

hmmm for that character my "tool" (http://www.chinese-tools.com/tools/mouse.html)

Gives 3 meanings...the third being "zong" to mean second cousin.

1. 从, Cong(1) -obey, observe, follow

2. 从, Cong(2) - lax, yielding, unhurried

3. 从, Zong(3rd) second cousin

hey

In response to Pierce and pierce guy...I don't think they should stick to the basics...Innovative ideas are definately a good thing. I think perhaps Chinese pod could do a cast where it's video'd...and perhaps have chinese characters pop up around the studio saying "stapler" over the stapler or something|(obviously getting a bit more inventive). I think that would be an incredible move on Cpods part :D

oh well. I have a Q(again completely unrelated to this cast which I thought was quite prductive btw)

I was reading a learning book and at one point they had the sentence's:

Zhe shi wo de laoshi(This is my teacher)

And

Zhe shi wo peungyou (this is my friend)

Any reason for missing the "de" in the second sentence or is it some editors error or something? Thanks Rich

I've noticed in a few exercises that where shenme is used ma is not applicable...Any other examples of where ma is exempt for questions?

Also...(waaay off topic) but does anyone know of any computer games purely in mandarin? Preferably for the pc with talking in :P
