July 05, 2008, 07:44 PMWhen I visited the island 15 years ago, it had the feel of a quaint colonial outpost. It truly was beautiful. Sadly, all the present construction has made it is as fast paced and overcrowded as Hong Kong now.

May 17, 2008, 04:15 AMI'm a big fan of Faye. She is such an amazing singer. Amber, I like Bu Liu a lot too but my favorite song of hers is the theme for Final Fantasy 8 called Eyes on Me!

April 29, 2008, 06:22 AMIris Chang, bestselling author of Rape of Nanking, also wrote a book called The Chinese in America. I highly recommend her books to all you Cpoddies out there. She will always be a literary stalwart in Asian America despite her early passing.

April 18, 2008, 06:41 AMI remember visiting China as a kid back in the 沒有 period and still have vivid memories of that time. PLA soldiers were everywhere and basic necessities were a luxury. It has been amazing to see the immense change to people's fortunes and the rapid modernization of the Mainland.
