August 17, 2014, 01:15 AMMe too! This is full of vocabulary and sentences I can use every day. Maybe a lesson on using good manners with eating, like 请 给 我 牛奶。

September 24, 2007, 12:36 AMI would be interested in hearing more about the origin and usage of 他不会吃你豆腐的. If not here, in another lesson.

July 05, 2007, 04:15 PMAh, where were you in 1987, when I was in Tianjin and made this awkward purchase! Back then, lots of fumbling through the dictionary, and they weren't available at the Friendship Store so there was a trip to the local pharmacy. I must say, however, that the traumatic experience burned the vocabulary in to memory.

July 04, 2007, 03:43 PMWould it change the meaning if Mr. Li had said "shi nian duo le" instead of shi duo nian le?

April 13, 2007, 04:26 PMI love that you now have download of just the dialog! Although, if I listen to this one a few times, I may start to believe that Shanghai is not the largest city in China:)

August 30, 2015, 05:32 PMTwo lessons I would be interested in. One is possibly a Qing Wen: I am having trouble finding the right way to say "upside down", like when you are trying to put a key in the lock and you have it the wrong way. Related to that (maybe), what you say when your shirt is "inside out." Or putting in a battery and in English you'd say it is "backwards."
Second idea is hair: I find some lessons on shampoo, but I am doing my kid's hair and I would love a lesson on combing, braiding, using a band or clip -- and, of course, crying when I try to get the tangles out.
One more thought: I dropped my iPhone in the ocean last week, and thanks to ChinesePod, I put it in a bag of rice when I got back and it still works!
Thanks!
