Yeah! In the past, Western countries didn't have much respect for Asian designers. Even Japan looked down its nose at designers from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. They always felt we were copying their designs. But I think Chinese culture has so many hidden delights. We were just never able to express them well. The reason I like Zhang Tianai is that her designs are a blend of the rich Chinese cultures. She's succeeded in displaying her own special characteristics.

Yes. Compared with Western countries, China's logistical infrastructure is pretty fragile. We only have one third as many highways as America. The quality of the highways in some areas is really good, but in some areas it's substandard. Trains carry mostly people, not goods. Harbors are the same way. The large number of boats coming and going often leads to congestion. The good news is, the government is taking the construction of transport infrastructure more and more seriously, and they've invested a lot of human, material, and financial resources. The Yangshan Deep-Water harbor currently in construction is being built to optimize the logistical infrastructure. I'm confident that once this shipping center is built, Chinese logistics will be able to go to the next level.
