This Group is for all things related to Shakespeare,be it Chinese performances of Shakespeare, attempted translations etc.Because his lines are so well known,I thought it would be a worthwhile exercise attempting translation to Chinese of some of the famous lines which may also help thus reinforce the Chinese;a fun way to learn.Comparisons to Chinese wisdom, proverbs or philosophy could also be cool.e.g.I can see some parallels between Shakespeare's:
"A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool" and Lao Tzu's:
"Not knowing is true knowledge. Presuming to know is a disease." Please join in and post anything on this topic.
