这种派对哪有和老婆商量的。
Is it equivalent to saying "这种派对不是和老婆商量的"? If there is a difference, what is it?

August 29, 2009, 10:08 PMI thought giving a clock/watch as a gift in Chinese culture was taboo because 送钟 (give clock) sounds like 送終 (bury parent).
Or in this context is it ok because they are married?

December 23, 2009, 03:06 AMI have an old textbook that lists the translation of 年头 as "beginning of the year" and 月头 as "beginning of the month".
However, I have heard from some native Chinese that these are a bit awkward.
