Hah... glad to see this technique gets wider use. I toss out fake Russian, or, occasionally, Redneck. If they're allowed to use a colloquial accent, so am I!

Great lesson... I'm finally settled in Baghdad with my shiny new paid account, so it took me awhile to get to this lesson.

  I've always wondered about linguistic links between Chinese dialects and Vietnamese... especially since I remember a friend of mine, who was learnign Vietnamese, mentioned it had more tones than Mandarin.
