i have a question regarding the "wo3 meng4xiang3 zhong1 de che1" phrase.  I figured out that meng4xiang3 means dream and che1 is obviously a car, but what’s with the zhong1 in between?? "The car in the middle of my dreams" or maybe even "the car around which my dreams are centered" are both  implausible;-) Do I really need this zhong1 or can I just say meng4xiang3che1. I noticed the same zhong1 the other day in the Personal ad lesson "meng4zhong1qing2ren2", At first I didn’t bother to ask but obviously this is an important Chinese pattern;-)

in the first sentence, how come we dont need a measure word, "zhe4 suan1nai3..." instead of zhe4 ge suan1nai3... or maybe zhe wan3 suan1nai3??? It cant be just to keep it simple, since ellies and even newbies have already been confronted with the concept of measure words

i've been using chinesepod for almost a year now and i'm really amazed by the results i have achieved so far and that's thanks to you guys! jia1you2 chinesepod;-)

i have a question concerning shi4qu1; i think it was in an earlier lesson that you mentioned that downtown is actually zhong1xin1... can the 2 be used interchangeably?
