If I were to say the title of this lesson I would say "I've got class", and unless something in the intonation of my voice suggested otherwise, I'd be talking about having to study in a classroom.  So nothing wrong with "I have class" in my opinion.

We've got to remember that not everyone in the US speaks in the same way, and not everyone speaks like those in the US.

Nothing wrong with this lesson or title at all.

Cheers, Chinesepod team.

As a beginner I think the lessons are great. The dialogue is short, however, if you are like me and trying to learn to speak, read and write the new vocab and you also work or study, the level in each lesson is great. There is not a shortage of lessons, so on days where I breeze through a lesson I do another.  If a student is overloaded learning won't be fun. Chinesepod reinforces a feeling of accomplishment, which is the most important thing for me.

Perhaps if the jump to Elementary is too big some supplementary lessons should be added to bridge that gap, rather than lengthening the existing lesson.

Cheers to the Chinesepod team!

What is the difference between using You mei you _____ma? and Ni you _____ ma?

Is one more for in a restaurant and shop and the other for with friends etc? Or are they interchangeable?

Hey, Can someone explain for me.

When introducing myself, can I use both of the following. One meaning literally 'I am called ___" and the other "My name is ____"? Are both equally correct?

叫___.

我的名字____

Thanks,

Claire
