April 3, 2008 at 3:20 AMrogbas, both 会 (hui4) and 可以 (ke3yi3) mean sb can do sth. but 会 emphasize the ability you have , whereas 可以 means you just can do sth . eg: 1.我会说汉语// emphasize you know chinese 2.我可以说汉语// emphasize you can choose any language as you like , chinse is just one of those!
