Hello everyone.. I am learning Japanese at the moment and I learned the hiragana and katakana first so I could read the words.. but in mandarin, it's a bit confusing. Does each character mean one word? If so can i just start learning the characters as I would vocab? In japanese, one Kanji can have many different readings when combined with other characters and kana. how shuld I be progressing with the characters in these lessons? Cheers!! Tarkonis
