Texastlchina, There have been lessons, at least one Olympic lesson, and a media. And if you listen closely to today's lesson, it sounds like a basketball game is going on in the background......so, maybe they are hinting at a future lesson too.

Chinesepod you bring back bad feelings from experieces with taxi drivers in China, but this is a very useful and well-done dialogue. A special award to the voice actor of the taxi driver.

Enjoyed the song, but please give credit to the musicians who performed and wrote it. Music seems to obscure the tones for learning new vocabulary, though that is a good lesson in itself. I have noticed that sometimes doubling characters such as 看看 (kan4kan4) can have the effect of softening meaning of words. Can the same idea apply to words in a song to slightly change the meaning or add nuance.
