I love the possessive in Mandarin, it is so easy and logical. You guys make learning Mandarin SO easy and fun.
I was on vacation and met a couple from China and I actually was able to speak with them in Mandarin (simple stuff, but still...). It was awesome. My friends were freaked out. The couple was very impressed with my vocabulary and accent. I gave all the credit to chinesepod.com

If things get bad, my weapon of choice is Skin So Soft from Avon. It repels the little buggers and doesn't put toxic chemicals on my skin. However, it is not marketed for that, it is considered a "skin lotion".

June 13, 2008 at 4:28 AM吃点心 is my absolute favorite thing to do on a lazy Sunday morning. Although most Chinese people in Philadelphia speak Cantonese, I will use these new words to see if they understand. My goal is always to speak "food" in any language. I like to eat. LOL
