August 26, 2010 at 8:48 PMGreat lesson. I can't wait for the next three!
Did Jenny say 100 Upper Intermediate lessons is enough? My Progress tab recommends 160. Can someone clarify?
Speaking of the Progress tab, I stopped taking Intermediate lessons at 100, but the counter keeps recording completions and is now up to 138, even though I haven't been marking any Intermediate lessons complete. Is anyone else having this happen?
Sorry to put two issues in the same post, but one kind of leads into the other...

April 27, 2010 at 4:10 AMRegarding the dashboard, why doesn't it include the table that used to be on the homepage showing how many lessons in each channel are bookmarked and studied? I always found that helpful -- please bring it back!

March 13, 2010 at 10:11 PMThe translation for 化解 is shown as "to dissolve," but from the dialogue context and the examples, the meaning seems to more closely match "to resolve." Can anyone help on this one?

February 1, 2010 at 5:36 PMThanks, Matthiask. It's IE6, though. Not a clarity problem, just the wrong characters.

January 31, 2010 at 4:31 AMIs anyone else having problems with the new fonts? I get some really strange characters in the popup translations, like question marks inside of a box, instead of what is supposed to appear.
Is it just me?
By the way, the larger text for the exercises: awesome!!

OK, I too have decided to promote myself to Upper Intermediate (gulp) so that I can follow Lao Wang, as I suspect he will still have a home there. My plan is to continue to listen to the Intermediate lessons in the car, but devote all of my computer time to Upper Intermediate, targeting one UI lesson per week to start. Does anyone have other transition strategies to share?
Posted on: Chinese Dialects (Part 2)
November 20, 2011 at 3:38 AMI thought the written language covered all of the dialects, but there seem to be a lot of words that are one syllable in Mandarin (so one character) but two syllables in another dialect (two characters then?). Also vice-versa. Can anyone shed a little light?
