@ellen_counsellor: It's interesting that there are so many different words for medicine in Chinese. I would have said that in English pill/capsule or pill/tablet were synonyms.

This chinese sentence mean has a little error.I think is mean 我不喜欢吃药可当我感冒时会尽快吃药。

感冒的时候我吃药很快 and 感冒时会尽快吃药 they have big difference!

(I wanted to say "I know a woman who is a hypochondriac. She really likes taking pills!" but had to stick to grammar I with which I was fairly confident.

I really do know this woman. Young, healthy, but she wants the attention of doctors and the people around her. she is making herself sick taking pharmecutical medicines from the U.S. Very sad!

I think that in this case, “know” is 认识. 我认识一位女人.

知道 would be used for “know of”, as in 我知道 Julius Caesar 了.

I wonder which 'local Chinese' grocery store you purchased this product from, because if it was in Australia, I am pretty sure it is an illegal import. I think the active ingredient is the well known medicine hydrocortisone 氢化可的松 [qīng huà kě dì sōng]. The same medicine is also used in such well-known brands as Egocort/Sigmacort/Dermaid, and can only legally be sold by pharmacists....although fairly safe, don't use it indiscriminately on your face....

I don't agree with you.When your temperature above 38.5℃,you can eat some antibiotics.
