Her reason for doing the course: 'my English is poor'.  I tell the students that if they are just interested in learning English they could spend their time more productively.  'My' Philosophy student left the class - possibly because she couldn't understand what I was saying.

(the classic English translation, "Confucius says, blah blah blah." If that's what you meant, then my answer is correct -- in the original texts, that bit is "子曰," which is just "孔子说" in modern Mandarin.
