It will be great if the tests eventually do more than give you a level indication but go further and identify areas of weakness in that level and perhaps even identify some lessons that may help fill in those gaps.But I'll just have to wait and see what's on offer first I suppose.

Talking of Shanghai Expo,I'd love to see some lessons delivering vocab that may be particularly useful for visitors to the Expo and also some general discussion...perhaps a Jenny Zhu show talking to an organiser or something along those lines.

ok,well this may sound unfair,but it'd be great if there was a one way video thing happening for virtual school so you can sit in your jammies on audio only but the teachers are on video also [well I could argue that seeing lip movement..articulation,as well as gesticulation,expression etc could help,haha..ps you can stay in your jammies if you want,hehe.Dunno why the govt is trying to get folk not in their jammies on the street for expo]

I didn't see a section on the Praxis Language website for press releases, but introducing new functionality is something that cpod should announce widely and broadly to as many free services as possible.

Don't they realise that visitors would flock in from all over the world to see THAT.  Hell I would come from western China, where we are far too sophisticated of course to do such a thing as wear our jarmmies outside.

I just need MORE TIME! If only I could virtually turn up to work, and in reality be studying.

]]> <![CDATA[By: walidshaari]]> i can not wait to see the tests, i belive i am still newbie however the current listening test i can get elementry high, and just now inter. low. i guess becasue the sound samples are not that much so if you did it already 4-5 times you can not get it wrong any more, i hope the new placement tests have a richer database and random questions.

The placement test works fine and confirmed my profile level (surprise, surprise!).

A suggestion: it might be good to add the level of each sentence in the graded paper result page. That would enable to reconcile the score with the wrong answers. It's mostly obvious but not always.

Even better would be to add a link to the corresponding lesson so that we could study from our mistakes...
