No one likes waiting for the bus. But if you can’t find the bus stop, it’s going to make things that much more difficult. So before you give up and hop in that taxi, listen to this podcast, and learn how to ask where the bus stop is, in Mandarin Chinese. And remember... hold on tight!

I didn't know we could listen to
new Cpod lessons even on Saturdays
and Sundays after the release of version ３.
It's a shame that I am slow to get new information.

Today's lesson is useful as usual.
But I have no need to find any bus stops
at least in the small city where I live in China.
You can usually get on the bus anywhere you like.

So, "Where's the bus stop?" is not
an important question for me at present.
The thing is "Where's the link to the Greatest
Saturday Show?". Please someone tell me about it.

Chinesepod loves buses and toilets. These have got to be our highest recurring topics. And there is always a new angle to take.

Lei Gao Rui,
Your frustration definitely resonates. A great lesson idea indeed. Thak you!

I love Jenny's comment.

My chinese teacher recently explained the difference between "no. 1" and "no. 2 "(toilet) business to me.

How about a lesson named "Has this bus a toilet" ?

Hi kimba!

Thank you for your quick reply.
I am now enjoying The Saturday Show
even though my poor listening comprehension
doesn't allow me to fully catch what they are saying.

The following is only my opinion.
I still don't understand why the links to
the blogs and the Show are so unnoticeable.
Is that intentional or just because of some modesty?

Good lesson. Will Chinesepod be bringing back the numbering system to the lessons? I found that really useful. I mean when you put numbers in the titles of each lesson.

I'd be interested to know the rationale for having so many newbie lessons. Clearly anyone who has studied all 183 lessons (as I have) couldn't be considered a newbie. I suspect anyone serious about studying Chinese would have studied them all. After about 100 lessons I felt confident enough to move onto the elementary lessons. I realise its important to keep things up to date, but personally (for selfish reasons) I would prefer more elementary lessons and perhaps something more advanced like the intermediate lessons but with more English discussion. The transition from elementary to intermediate is very big due to the spoken Chinese content.

@dancupid: I agree.
Being an "upper Elementary" I feel rather lost in an "Intermediate" because of all the Chinese banter I don't understand. CP, what about closing the E/I gap and reducing the Newbie podcasts?
