Speaking of the Olympics, (great article btw)... I am going to the Olympics... just taking the opportunity to fish for some event tickets! ;) Does any poddie have some they can't / won't use? I will be there, have a place to stay, but nothing to see. Save me from sketchy ticket scalpers, someone!! :D

The Vancouver Olympic Organizing Committee, or VANOC (come to think of it, shouldn't that be VANOOC and rhyme with canook, the way New Yorkers pronounce canuck?!), had a pavillion at Torino and is sending an observation team to Beijing, given that we're hosting in 2010. Maybe if you introduce yourselves to them, Amber, they'll value your bicultural expertise and throw some freebies your way in exchange for a few favors.
