Hi, Bill,

You really are too modest, so I'm putting a link to your excellent blog here.

OK, that out of the way, I'm planning to occasionally blog on the subject of learning Chinese over on my personal blog (here). I only sporadically update it, but am planning to blog a bit more over the coming months now my uni. work has died down a bit.

Best wishes,

Will

Will, part of the reason for asking, is that I was hoping to put together a list of people blogging about their experiences, see if we could support each other and exchange ideas. This was inspired by the series called 31 Days to Build a Better Blog over on ProBlogger.

Thanks for the link though. Much appreciated.

@billgloveruk I have a mate I met during the 汉语桥 competition last year, from SF. They guy had never been overseas before but became fluent in Cantonese through his social interactions. He is in in the midst of studying Mandarin and is blogging his account. Mike Redus is his name. Here's a link. http://learnchinesedaybyday.blogspot.com/2009/03/learning-chinese-idiomatic-expressions.html

My blog is not totally dedicated to studying Chinese, but I do have some posts (and plan to have a lot more when I start preparing for the HSK). I am an American living in Singapore, and you can check out my site here: maltzajava.net. Here is a sample of one of my language posts: http://maltzajava.net/2008/10/studying-chinese-in-singapore/

For more, you can do a search or look at the tags. Feel free to bookmark it, and look for more language pots in the future!

Thanks for all the links and thanks to the folks over at ChinesePod for posting my request on Twitter. I have put together a list of great posts by people learning Chinese (both in China and abroad).

I'm always looking to grow the list, so if you have are blogging your experiences then get in touch.
