你好 Marlon,

I wish to see you.用中文这样说:我希望见到你。:)wǒ xīwàng jiàndào nǐ.

“ 你对我生气吗?”应该说“你生我的气了吗?”

Ms Grace lǎoshī,

So, "to wish" and "to hope" have the same zhongwen verb:"希望".

Also, 生气 is a separable verb...i got it now.

老师,我还有一些问题。。。

I am confused with "lingqian" and "zhaoqian"...are they mere nouns or can be used as verbs...and when does the situation call for the use of those terms?

多谢老师!

你好 Marlon,

Actually, "to wish" and "to hope" have some difference, like "to make a wish"许个愿(望) or "Wish you a happy birthday"祝你生日快乐. In the above two examples, we should translate "wish" as"愿望yuànwàng(noun)" and"祝zhù(verb)".

About "língqián" and "zhǎoqián", the former is a noun, while the latter is a phrase(verb+object), so we can add something after the verb"zhǎo=to give".

Here are some examples:

你有零钱吗?nǐ yǒu língqián ma?

我没有零钱,只有100的。wǒ méiyǒu língqiān, zhǐyǒu 100 de.

我给你100,你得找我钱。wǒ gěi nǐ 100, nǐ děi zhǎo wǒ qián.

两瓶可乐5块钱,我给你5块,不用找钱。liǎngpíng kělè 5 kuài qián, wǒ gěi nǐ 5 kuài, búyòng zhǎoqián.

gqián" and "zháoqián", the former is a noun, while the latter is a phrase(verb+object), so we can add something after the verb"zhǎo=to give".

You can translate the examples by yourself:)
