Problem with chinese-english dictionaries : 花痴

Posted by kimiik September 12, 2010 in the Group General Discussion.

I don't know why but 花痴 (huāchī) is sometimes wrongfully translated in english as nymphomaniac, anthomaniac or flirtatious.

Nciku uses "[Psychology] erotic psychiatric patients" which is better.

But what's wrong with the word "SEX ADDICT" ? Could we call a spade a spade ?
