In Windows, extract the ttf file to your desktop, go to the control panel, fonts, then select install new font.. on the file menu. Find the location of your desktop and it should bring up the name of the font in the window, select it to install.

Just tried one and worked fine.

Click 本地普通下载一 or 本地普通下载二 to download.

It says windows or mac, you need to be able to open RAR files though.

Bazza, that's awesome - are these free? Also, will they work on Mac OS X?

This got a bit lost during the updates so I thought I'd bring to the top again, as it seems to have over a 1000 free Chinese fonts.

I think you're talking about fonts. Right? There are lots of free fonts available for English. I like dafont.com. For Chinese, you'll need Chinese fonts. I have a few on my website: Chinese fonts.
