I don't understand the construction of the following sentence and the use of 的 here. Can you explain, please?

那女的跑了！

And what time our phone call will be on thursday?

女=femal

“adj.+的” is a noun in a sentence. 

so "女的" becomes a noun. which means" woman".

I will talk to you at 9:45 on Thursday.

In fact I think I understood the meaning but I couldn't make such a phrase. Could have she said "那女在跑啦，抢劫啦“ ？
