luanchong - What is it?

Posted by frankencow December 16, 2010 in the Group General Discussion .

I'm reading this Taiwanese book and came across "䜌蟲“ (luanchong?) which appears to be a kind of bug similar to a grasshopper.    The first character is actually written with the "mouth" taking up the entire bottom.  I cannot find this word in my dictionary or even Chinese wikipedia!  Yet here it is in a children's book.  How can this be?
