Chinese proverbs and sayings

My husband and I are just starting our paperwork to adopt from China and I am wanting to get him something special for Christmas.  I was thinking of some nice chopsticks engraved in Hanzi, but can't think of what to put on them.  Perhaps a proverb?  Any ideas?
