Just curious, what is the difference between media and advanced lessons??

Hi user14229,

in "Media" instead of a made-up dialogue a *real* piece of media is at the center of the discussion, and so far always a piece of *written* media (esp. news items). You need to work through that first before you listen to the podcast.

The written stuff is very different from the spoken one , more condensed, more formal, more "Guwen-y" more names of places and people. This is why for the most part a Media podcast is a gear tougher than your average Advanced lesson.
