how to type characters?

Nin hao everyone,  you guys seem to be able to print Chinese characters on and off on your computer... how do you do that? what kind of software? or do I need a Chinese keyboard?

你好 - nǐ hǎo , you have to install the eastasienlanguage support IME under Windows. In the helpsection is an explanation for all that. And you might look out for ChinesePera-kun to read the characters so here´s the link https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/downloads/file/11431/chinesepera-kun-0.2.2-fx+tb.xpi . hope that helps
