I'm having troubles translating this sentence :
我吃了饭就做作业。
I can't figure out if this means "I'll do my homework as soon as I have finished eating" or "I'll eat as soon as I have finished my homework"!
If someone could explain the logic?
Thank you!
Oliver

"I'll do my homework as soon as I have finished eating"
the 了 indicates a completed action...eating in this case, the jiu in this case means "and then right away [I'll]"..whatever follows, in this case do the homework.
