This is why we have been busy working on the official ChinesePod courses, a definitive set of lessons that take students from point A to B.
I am pleased to announce that we have compiled 4 courses for the newbie, elementary, elementary-intermediate and intermediate levels. Each course is arranged into themed units that contain all time favorite ChinesePod lessons. Each lesson will also be accompanied by class materials, which are primarily visual aids that help students and teachers practice the language in the lessons. These materials are not your typical class workbook. Expect tons of image-supported activities that create cognitive shortcuts to help you grasp Chinese. Michael, ChinesePod's marketing assistant did a trial run and shared his thoughs in this blog post. Enjoy the sneak peek and tell me what you think.
And did I mention grammar? All lessons within courses will have grammar tags and entries, i.e. sample sentences. Pretty gem-packed if you ask me.

May 05, 2011, 11:23 AMHmn, interesting. Is this an extension of the "class" concept that you ran a pilot of before? I think they were skype classrooms with a single teacher and a number of students. I seem to remember you also tried a physical class in Shanghai?
Or are these materials intended for single students going through the teacher programmes - guided, guided+ etc?
