受到 or 得到 ????????????

October 14, 2011 at 06:29 PM posted in General Discussionis there a 请问 or other lesson based on "getting somthing". I know the words that include 受到 or 得到, but using these seem a bit unnatural, is there a better way of saying "to get" as a verb????? Better yet is it explained in a lesson??????

But "get" what? The word "get" is highly idiomatic in English, and can mean many, many quite different things. I recommend rephrasing what you want to say using a verb other than "get" (for example, do you mean "receive" or "buy" or "become" or what?), and then translating that into Chinese. It will be much easier.
