remove lessons from dashboard

How do I remove lessons from the dashboard? - I am not subscribed to any channels and several of the 'assigned' lessons i want to remove because they clutter up the small screen on my netbook and phone

I just want the lessons I'm interested on there with no distraction

Am I missing something really obvious?
