iPhone App download problems

I tried emailing ChinesePod directly but I could not get through (my message was not deliver - another tech issue).

 

How can we download several "self study" lessons all at once? 

I am busy. I commute. I want to be able to download a bunch of audio lessons during the brief period I am arround wifi.

Presently, I only know how to do this by clicking at least twice for __each__ audio file I want to download. Furthermore, this often fails silently.

The content is good and the app is a good start but please find time to take the app from a 70% to a 99%.

Hi David,

At this time, there is no way to download files in bulk through the app, although you can download multiple files at the same time. This is designed to conserve data usages.

I'd also like to point out that there are two community groups dedicated to tech and app issues already. These groups have a lot of active users who might help participate in discussions:

Thanks, this is still a huge issue for me. I have barely used ChinesPod now that I'm paying for it. It basically is non-functional on my iPhone as far as I'm concerned and I'm not much near my computer these days. 

I used to enjoy ChinesePod regularly when I used the free shows through itunes on an old fashioned ipod. I think there are features that allow events to occur only when on wifi. That might be something to look into.
