I am trying to write "king of beasts" in tradtional chinese/mandarin.

Is this correct? 国王野兽 = guowang yeshou

 

I want to make sure that I have the order down right. Thank you.

You have the order reversed.  What in English would be "King of the Beasts" would the more like "beasts' king" in Chinese.   But its normally seen with differet words than the ones you picked.  try 百兽之王 in simplified characters, or 百獸之王 in traditional.
