The difference between experience

I need to know in what situation you would use each. 见识,经验, 经历。The first one I know is a verb and noun. the second one is only a noun, and the third one is only a verb, but is there a better time to use one versus another one?

From what I understand 见识 is knowledge. So you could say you want to grow your knowledge 长见识 for example.
经验 is probably better interpreted as "skill." Like if you want to say you have C++ programming experience, you could use 经验
经历 uses the character 历 as in 历史 (history), and I think is used to describe your experiencial history. Like, something you experienced in the past. Drawing from the C++ analogy, you could say "I experienced C++ programming when I worked at Microsoft." I believe this is probably the case for 经历
Hope that helps, and I also hope someone will correct me if I am wrong, because I usually am.
