Hey everyone,

I was just looking at a nice site with some directional compliments and came across the following sentence:

我很想到法國去

The meaning seems simple enough but then I thought what is the difference between that and...

我很想去法國

This I am not sure about but my best guess is emphasis... adding emphasis of actually being in that place rather than going to...

Any better suggestions?

 

BTW - This is the site I was looking at. Quite nice little explinations.
