best pinyin ime and best popup translator

Been using google's pinyin ime on windows 7, which at the time I installed it, I thought it was the best. Not looked into in a long time though and wondering if it's still the best or if others are better now. The only drawback I found with it, is it always wanted to update in Chinese, hehe. If it's still the best, got a link?

Also, what's the best popup translator for firefox?
