Contemporary Chinese Music

Hey guys, maybe you can help me. My semester is going to start soon, and I want to know the types of things that students listen to nowadays. I know I could check the Internet, but I don't know how reliable the infomation would be on the mainstream media sites. I could ask directly, but I am worried that the students are only going to tell me what they think I want to hear. I could wait until the start of the term and ask students then, but I want to have topics and ideas ready for them, and I don't want to seem out of the loop, thereby giving them more reasons to marginalize what I say or know. Anyhow, thats all.
