John: So what do we hear in the very beginning of the dialog?

Dilu: 哇。太刺激了。太刺激了。

John: 刺激 is an adjective.

Dilu: 没错。是一个形容词。

John: And the tones are ...

Dilu: 第四声和第一声。刺激。

John: So that's 'exciting', sometimes translated as 'stimulating', but here its 'exciting'.

Dilu: 是因为这两个男人在看一个拳击比赛。

John: A boxing match.

John: Lets look at that from the back. The first character there is what?

John: That means 'war', but its not something usually used by itself as a word. In this case the word is ...

John: 大战 - 'big war', just like an important match in this case.

John: Two 4th tones. 世纪, SHI JI. That means 'century'.
